Granny Smith Festival

Koreatown is proud to play host to the 38th annual Granny Smith Festival this year. Started in 1985, it is now the largest event of its type in Sydney’s Northern District, attracting over 80,000 visitors each year. Going larger and better, visitors can look forward to old favourites and new activities such as amusement rides, market stalls, food trucks, performances, youth zones and kid activities. The day will culminate in a Celebrity Performance and a spectacular fireworks display!

In tandem with this celebration, Eastwood Koreatown, along East Rowe Street and Madang Ktown, will be adding to the festivities with a K-pop dance competition, food offerings and a variety of cultural activities – including picture   opportunities while dressed in a traditional Korean Hanbok.
