Event Brief: Lanterns Light Up Koreatown – Dazzling Celebration!
Join Koreatown for a breathtaking journey as hundreds of traditional Cheongsa-Chorong the Korean lanterns illuminate Rowe Street!

- Light it Up: Craft your own lantern in our interactive workshop, then join the vibrant lantern parade led by pulsating Korean drumming! At the sun sets, Lanterns will be distributed to the general public, creating a stunning display of light and symbolising good fortune for the upcoming year.
- Taste the Tradition: Savor the sizzling flavors of authentic Korean cuisine.
- Meet Meerue the blue Dragon: Be captivated by the animated storytelling and arrival of Meerue the Blue Dragon, symbolising courage and unity!

Event Details
4:30 PM Lantern workshop starts with a Blue Dragon Digital Art workshop and face painting for the community.
6:00pm – Walking Nanta Performance from Eastwood Station to Moko with lanterns.
6:30pm – Opening ceremony with traditional performance, Meerue story telling for the special guest.
7:00pm – Group photo section and continue lantern workshop till 8:00pm
7:30pm – Handout Lanterns to the public
